Elise is quick at response, and quick at putting things together. She thinks ahead for your support, and has always looked out for the best option for anyone wanting anything purchased, assisting in travel options, or being creative with web or PowerPoint presentations. She doesn’t hesitate to tackle projects of research on the web with minimal information to “find” all the things that belong in one presentation, or a web production. The Safety page is much to her credit for making it a one stop shopping web site for anyone wanting to know resources for safety issues. Jim’s presentation contain a design from Elise that identifies the CAHNRS Office of Research. Even in mundane projects such as cleaning out Wilson attic, or scanning 1000’s of pages she has worked tirelessly to organize it all for anyone that needed access.
In March, after 17 years with WSU Extension and Food $ense, I accepted a position as Executive Director of a local non-profit working to build a Culture of Health in Mason County. After completing a draft of the FY2017 SNAP Ed grant plan, the leadership was turned over to Christine to complete. She began working with the program last summer as a nutrition educator and quickly learned the dynamics of the program and community it serves. With the assistance of the local and state staff and Department of Health (Implementing Agency for the grant) Christine jumped in and navigated a steep learning curve to complete the project summary, budget, and plan by the short deadline in April. Her professional attitude and calm exterior helped to ease this transition. I commend her for completing this plan and determining program needs and capacity using a shared leadership model to guide the local program outputs for the future. Well done!
Not only was Catalina a wonderful support person for the SNAP-Ed grant transition, she also motivated the group to engage in the physical activity component of the EFNEP training. Great job, Catalina!
Melissa has done so much for the Children’s Center and I personally would not have even made it this far without her. She is always willing to help without so much as an ounce of grief! Thanks so much!!!
Melissa provided outstanding customer service when I asked her to process a large number of EAA’s for the WSU Children’s Center. She did the work in a timely manner, with a smile! She is an example of great customer service. Thanks Melissa!
